Kiley Young, LCSW
Kiley Young is the owner and founder of Compass Collaborative Counseling, PLLC. Kiley is a Connecticut Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and obtained her Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree from the University of Connecticut. She developed her clinical skills providing individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults through her experience working in juvenile justice, therapeutic foster care, outpatient mental health, and school settings. Through this experience, Kiley has worked with clients throughout the lifespan who have sought help for a broad range of mental health challenges. She has professional experience working with individuals and families with: trauma, attachment disorders, depression and anxiety disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, as well as parenting/caregiving issues, relational problems, emotion regulation, life transitions, chronic illness, and grief/loss.
As a full time school social worker, Kiley also has experience navigating the special education system and working with youth and families to develop strategies to manage academic and behavioral challenges within the school environment.
Kiley utilizes relational, psychodynamic, and person-centered therapy techniques, and works with individuals to develop collaborative and individual goals for treatment.
